Hint: Commanding Officer descriptions:

Information in this section was contributed by Shamu200.

Andy

You start out with him. Andy is a well balanced CO with a pretty good CO Power. He is good with all types of units and has no real weaknesses. CO Power: Hyper Repair. Hyper Repair restores two Hit Points to every one of your units. It also gives all of your units stronger attack power for the turn you used Hyper Repair.

Max

Max's main strategy is to strike fast and hard. He is the best CO with direct combat units, but his skills with long-distance weapons are pretty bad. CO Power: Max Force. Max Force boosts the attack power of all direct combat units. Direct combat units can only attack enemies from adjoining squares. For example, a Tank is a direct combat unit but Rockets are not. It also increases their movement slightly for that turn.

Sami

The third CO to join you is Sami. Her specialty is Infantry and Mech units. Her troops cover more ground and capture cities and bases faster than any other CO's units. CO Power: Double Time. Double Time increases the movement range of all her Infantry and Mech units for one turn.

Olaf

Olaf is unaffected by cold snows that slow other units down, but rain tends to give him a lot of trouble. He is not the smartest CO, but his troops are well rounded. CO Power: Blizzard. Blizzard causes a lot of snow to fall. Snow sharply reduces an enemy's movement while leaving Olaf's units unaffected, but it does not last long.

Grit

Grit is the mellowest of all the CO's, but do not be fooled by his low key manner. He is a sharpshooter with long-distance units, but his direct combat units have a low firepower rating. CO Power: Sniper. Sniper increases the range and power of Grit's indirect combat units. Since Grit's units already have an impressive range, Sniper makes them almost untouchable.

Eagle

The skies have always called for Eagle, and as a result, his air units are the best in the business. His naval units, however, are extremely weak. CO Power: Lighting Strike. Lighting Strike allows his units to attack two times in one turn. In the hands of an experienced player, a well-placed Lighting Strike can end a battle before it has begun.

Kanbei

The best-trained troops fight under Kanbei's banner, and their defensive ratings are the highest in the game. It costs extra credits to deploy Kanbei's units though. CO Power: Morale Boost. Morale Boost gives Kanbei's troops a burst of energy and increases each unit's offensive rating for a single turn.

Drake

A master of the seas, Drake employs the best naval units in the business. Drake's weakness is air combat -- his air force is widely regarded as little more than cannon fodder. CO Power: Tsunami. This attack creates a giant wave that takes 2 Hit Points from every enemy unit, including air units.

Sonja

Kanbei's daughter, Sonja, is an information junkie. Her units are average across the board, but they can see farther than any other CO's units. Enemies cannot see her unit's HP. CO Power: Enhanced Vision. When used, her CO Power will increase every unit, even letting you see what is in reefs and forests without having to be directly next to them.

Sturm

Not much is known about Sturm. CO Power: Meteor Strike. A giant meteor comes crashing down and takes every unit it lands on down to two HP. Strum is not affected by the area, meaning that the land will not reduce his troops movement. Information in this section was contributed by wendydolce.

Sturm is a power house in many ways. His power homes in on the most amassed troops, depending on the cost of all the units in the area and if there on a building or a base. His power is very easy to trigger. Powers are increased by you being attacked or you attacking the opponent. When you are attacked, it increases more that if it were you that is attacking. It increases more depending on the unit's cost. When he powers up in campaign mode, his offense increases and defense drops. However, in other modes it is the opposite. Sturm's powers are average but his strength is his movement on terrain. He moves without worry of movement cost. His weakness is snow. Information in this section was contributed by Eagle.

Hint: Drake:

Use Andy to win the Captain Drake, Naval Clash, Wings Of Victory, and Battle Mystery missions in campaign mode. Drake can be bought for 50 coins at the Battle Maps screen after the campaign is over. Information in this section was contributed by Shamu200.

Hint: Eagle:

Use Sami to win the Captain Drake, Naval Clash, Wings Of Victory, and Battle Mystery missions in campaign mode. Then, win the Rivals battle. Eagle can be bought for 80 coins at the Battle Maps screen after the battle is over. Information in this section was contributed by Shamu200.

Hint: Grit:

Use Max to win mission 4 in campaign mode. Grit can be bought for 50 coins at the Battle Maps screen after the campaign is over. Information in this section was contributed by Shamu200.

Hint: Kanbei:

Successfully complete campaign mode under the normal difficulty setting. Kanbei can be bought for 50 coins at the Battle Maps screen after the campaign is over. Information in this section was contributed by Shamu200.

Hint: Nell:

Win the Advance campaign. You do not have to get S-ranks in the battles -- just win them. You do not have to win any of the War Room missions, but when you get Nell, you will be able to use her in War Room and Versus modes. Information in this section was contributed by Epyon346.

Hint: Sonja:

First, win the "Kanbei Arrives" mission in less than 9 turns; the "Mighty Kanbei" mission in less than 11 turns; and the "Kanbei's Error" mission in less than 13 turns to unlock the bonus Sonja missions. Win the bonus Sonja missions in campaign mode. Sonja can be bought for 60 coins at the Battle Maps screen after the campaign is over. Information in this section was contributed by Shamu200.

Hint: Strum:

Unlock Grit, Eagle, Drake, Kenbei, and Sonja. Strum can be bought for 100 coins at the Battle Maps screen. Information in this section was contributed by Shamu200.

To get Sturm faster, use Max in as many battles as possible. Information in this section was contributed by Jlcjlc88.

Hint: Stop enemy from building:

Place a medium tank or any other troop type on an enemy building.

Hint: Load more units to transporter ships:

Deploy an APC and load a unit inside it. Next, load the APC to a Lander. You can also deploy T-Copter and load a unit to it. Then, load the T-Copter to a Cruiser. Information in this section was contributed by Renzokuken.

Hint: Select who you want for the final battle:

During campaign mode, do what you have to do to buy a C.O. For example, to play as Grit do mission 4 as Max. If you want to play as Max and Sami, do not complete the requirements to unlock a C.O. Information in this section was contributed by dolcej.

Glitch: Edit campaign mode maps:

Enter design maps mode and design a map by doing the following: fill the entire map with only plains, then at the upper left corner in the map and in the first row, lay down six infantry units. Next, in second row make six mechs, building towards the left. In the third row make Md tanks, towards the right. In the fourth row, make rockets, towards the left. By the end of this, you should have a 4x6 block of units. Then, go into field training and lose to Olaf in the "Naval Forces" mission by either destroying your T copter or lander. Go back and open the design map that you created and delete all the units. If done correctly, Nell should pop up and tell you "The Orange Star Army has lost!". Now comes the tricky part -- exiting design maps mode without saving. Exit by choosing "Options" and "Exit Map" by pressing the A as you in any other battle mode to bring up the menu. However, never touch "Select" until you are done. Once you are back to the mode select menu, choose either "War Room" or "Campaign" Use L and R as you would in design maps mode. Once you are done editing, find the save option and save your edited map. Now turn off the Game Boy Advance and turn it back on. Note: From now on, all you have to do to take advantage of the glitch is lose at Naval Forces and delete the units in your glitch map. Also, any changes before saving are permanent. Note: This game is also titled Battle Network Rockman EXE 2.

Hard mode:

Successfully complete the game with all five stars. Highlight the "New Game" option at the title screen, then press Left(2), Right, Left, Right, Left, Right(2). The ''New Game'' option will turn orange to confirm correct code entry. Select that option and the "Netbattle" option will not longer be available. Save the game, then restart. A "Hard Mode" option will now be unlocked under the ''New Game'' and ''Continue'' options. Information in this section was contributed by ona.

Successfully complete the game to unlock the WWW area. Go to Ula Internet area 4 and look for a glowing red warp. Enter it to access the WWW area. Note: You cannot exit once you enter, so saving the game is recommended. Information in this section was contributed by Sean O'Donnell.

Hint: Gamecube logo:

After defeating Shadowman, reenter the main mother computer. Go to the back of the computer. Stand in front of the "mother computer main server", where Shadowman was standing before you fought him. Slowly go to Megaman's right. Upon a stack of cubes with purple, squiggly lines on them will be the Gamecube logo. Information in this section was contributed by KAK062.

Hint: Battle Bass:

After defeating Planetman, you can fight the real Bass. He has 2000 HP and a Life Aura 1 that will reappear. When you defeat him, you will get his Bass chip. Information in this section was contributed by MegaMan111290.

Hint: Battle Pharaohman:

After completing the game, go to the WWW area from the Undernet. Unlock the security cubes with a S license lock and you will get to Pharaohman. This battle is similar to the fight with Thunderman. He has two coffins that will do most of the attacking for him, but he does not attack very often. When he does, he will put a switch on the battlefield that activates a trap. For this battle, chips like Stepsword and Cannonball work very well, but the coffins act like shields and can block chips such as Cannon very easily. Pharaohman has 1200 hp. Information in this section was contributed by TheRedGuy14.

Hint: Defeating Gateman:

If you have the style Fireguts, charge your attack by holding A then release it. Even if he has used Remo Gate, the flames will pass right through, and if aimed correctly, will hit him regardless. The flames also destroy his soldiers easily. Information in this section was contributed by Pro. Gamer.

Hint: Defeating Gutsman:

During your battle with him, move Mega Man to one of the front squares. When you do this, Gutsman will approach to punch you. Dodge the punch by moving sideways, then immediately move back to the original location and hit him with a chip. He will now move to a different square, then return to hit you again. When this happens, do the same thing again. When you run out of chips, charge your Megabuster and hit him with it. Note: This strategy will only work with a Guts-style Mega Man. Information in this section was contributed by sean fish.

Hint: Defeating Protoman:

Before you fight Protoman, make sure that all your FireSwrds, ElecSwrds, and AquaSwrds are in your folder. When the battle starts, always stay in the middle panels. When Protoman comes up close to slash you, slide to the back panels then move back to the middle and hit him with a sword of any kind. The previously listed swords are recommended. Repeat this until you win. Information in this section was contributed by chau h cao.

Hint: Defeating Toadman v3:

Use P.A. 2X Hero, which does 70 per hit. However if you use Attack +30, every shot will do 100 damage to Toadman. He has 900 HP, so he will only have 100 HP remaining. Then, use any kind of chip that damages 100. Information in this section was contributed by Vjdarkfox.

Hint: Defeating Thunderman:

When it comes time to get on the net and find your stolen Battlechips, you must netbattle Thunderman. To defeat him easily, put a Fan in your folder as a default chip; or make sure it comes up soon in the battle. When you use it, Thunderman will be pulled up front. When the Fan gets destroyed, he cannot move forwards or backwards. Use swords, dashattacks, quakes, and anything lethal while he either tries to hit you with lightning or uses his clouds to shoot electricity at you. When you attack and make a hit, his attack will immediately stop. While he is off guard, use your gun or any other chips to inflict more damage. However, be careful of the three clouds sliding back and forth. If you are not on guard and quick to move sideways, these clouds could cost you a victory as they are formidable in battle. Information in this section was contributed by Bandedkrait.

Hint: Defeating the V3 Navis:

You can defeat at least three of the V3 Navis with an easy S rating using this od. On most of the folders you build to defeat V3 Navis, do not rely on Recovery Chips. They waste time, which is a very important factor in getting an S rating. Use FireGuts because it gives you a free quick charging 100 damage no matter if you have a chip on hand or not. First, build a wood type folder with many TreeBom1-2-3s and other high damaging chips. Go to MarineHbr and challenge Toadman to a battle by talking to the reporter beside the van. Beat him mercilessly until you have at least five V3 Toadman chips. Second, build an electric type folder and use all your Toadman V3 chips and perhaps some Satelite3 or Magbomb2-3. Buy a lot of LocEnemies from the subchip man in the Netbattler building. Go all the way to Undernet 7 and get Freezeeman V3 to appear, if you have not fought V2, walk over to the left side of the area and down and he should appear. Then, V3 will appear randomly. After you run into his V3 self the first time, save and use a LocEnemy so you can load the save file until it finally runs into him. He is a water type and is stupidly standing on an all ice fight area. Throw any electric things you have at him and get five V3 chips from him. The Toadman V3 chips do 720 damage to him in one shot, since he is taking four times the damage from electric type chips. Finally, build a water type folder and this time use all your Freezeman V3 chips you just collected. Goto the airport and fight Heatman, who is the character with red hair in the final departure room of the airport. He is easy with your Freezeman V3 chips, they are a bit random but most definitely one of the most powerful chips when you combine them with +Attack or +Navi chips. There are a total of about eight or nine attacks and the + chip will add to each one of those attacks. Information in this section was contributed by Codeguru.

To get past second gate in WWW area (which means grabbing all V3 Navi chips except WWW Navis), grab five Gateman V2 or V3 (preferable) chips, five Gateman chips and three other good Navi chips if you have a team style; five of each Attack+ chips and five of each Navi+ chips. For whatever is left or what you cannot find or have, add all the rest of your powerful, accurate, chips and perhaps a P.A. or two. When fighting annoying V3 Navis, get aligned with them and use a powered up Gateman chip. This way, the maximum HP you could knock off them in one Gateman V3 chip is 800. You can also try this with Bass chips. Information in this section was contributed by mark.

Hint: Blocking Fishys:

Whenever you fight a Fishy (V1 V2 or V3), use a chip that sets up an obstacle (Remobit, Guardian, etc.) and put it in front of you. The Fishys cannot go through these obstacles. This is useful for buying time to get chips or P.A. in the exams. Information in this section was contributed by Tmacxgamer.

Hint: Shadow Wide Sword:

If you have any type of Shadow Chip and already upgraded the charge in your Mega Man profile, equip the Shadow Chip during battle and charge your Blaster while you are in shadow mode. When the charge is ready, release A and you will immediately transport to the enemy panels. The closest enemy to you will be hit with the Shadow Wide Sword, as well as anyone else in a vertical angle. The damage is the same from your Blaster when charged. Information in this section was contributed by Andres Healy.

Hint: Third folder:

Defeat Shadowman and Freezeman. Then, go to the Mother Computer area. Go to the second mini-computer (the first one you jack into). There will be a there that wants a Bigbomb Star. Give one to her and she will give you a Program Advance Folder. Note: It does not contain every Chip for every Program Advance. Information in this section was contributed by Hilbert.

Hint: Navi Chip codes:

The code at the bottom of a Navi chip is its name in Japanese. For example, Bass is named Forte and his code is F. Protoman is named Blues and his symbol is B. Information in this section was contributed by RottenStuff26.

Hint: Black Navi locations:

Information in this section was contributed by Pro-Gamer.

Black Navi 1: Underkoto

Black Navi 2: Undernet area 6

Black Navi 3: Netarea 2

Black Navi 4: Yumland area 2

Hint: Airman Version 3:

You can find Airman Version 3 in Den Area 1. He deals around 100 damage for each attack but you can get 500 Zenny if you have a low rankFor about a Busting Lv. 6, you can get another Airman Chip. Information in this section was contributed by Mark Hohmann.

Hint: Extra Damage from Airman Chip:

Go to the front and if an enemy is in the front rank also, use the Airman chip to do double the damage. Information in this section was contributed by Mark Hohmann.

Hint: Geddon3 chip:

After you defeat Shadow Man, go to MarinHarbor. From the center building, go down the flight of stairs and look closely at the screen. You should see a blur every few seconds. Walk up and talk to it. A little will say, "You found it! You take it". You will receive the Geddon3 chip. Information in this section was contributed by CommanderPommy.

After acquiring the Geddon3 chip, put it in your folder with a Repair Chip (preferably a * code chip). Being that it makes all panels, swap panels (which constantly takes your health away). Use the Repair to fix your panels, leaving your opponents to suffer. Note: Have Repair out when you take out Geddon 3. Information in this section was contributed by Bluewave42890.

Hint: 2xHero chip advance:

You must have these chips in this order during a battle for the 2xHero Chip upgrade: Custswrd B, Varswrd B, Protoman B. Note: You must have the same code and have to be in the order shown. Information in this section was contributed by HeatgutsMegaman.

Hint: O-Canon1 Chip:

Select Cannons A B C D and E in that order. This allows you to shoot Cannons with unlimited ammunition for ten seconds at the speed of the X-Buster. This can only be selected in battle. Information in this section was contributed by Mark Hohmann.

Hint: O-Canon2 Chip:

Select Hi-Cannons C D E F and G in that order. This allows you shoot Hi-Cannons with unlimited ammunition for ten seconds at the speed of the X-Buster. This can only be selected in battle. Information in this section was contributed by Mark Hohmann.

Hint: Z-Canon1 Chip:

Select Cannons A B C, B C D, or C D E in that order. This allows you to shoot Cannons with unlimited ammunition for five seconds at the speed of the X-Buster. This can only be selected in battle. Information in this section was contributed by Mark Hohmann.

Hint: Z-Canon2 Chip:

Select Hi-Cannons C D E, D E F, or E F G in that order. This allows you to shoot Hi-Cannons with unlimited ammunition for five seconds at the speed of the X-Buster. This can only be selected in battle. Information in this section was contributed by Mark Hohmann.

Hint: Zeta Cannon upgrade chip:

During a fight, at any time you get these chips, you will form the Zeta Cannon: Cannon A, Cannon B, Cannon C. Note: You have only five seconds with this cannon -- shoot as many shots as possible. Remember to put them in alphabetical order. Information in this section was contributed by HeatgutsMegaman.

Hint :Subchip plus memory:

After you defeat Magnet Man, go to Netopia. In first screen (after going out from Arrival Lobby), search a tree in west screen. Talk to the boy and you will get Subchip plus memory. Information in this section was contributed by Mario Romanus.

Hint: Secret chips (251 to 260):

To get the ten secret chips, you must have two Gameboy Advances, two Mega Man Battle Network 2 games, and a link cable. Both games must have at least three stars next to their name. If you have four stars, the odds will be higher. Link up the games and go into Network. Save the game when prompted, then choose Netbattle (not Practice Battle). Battle the other person and get an S rank on them. This is done easier if one player allows the other to . You will get a secret chip approximately every twenty battles. The secret chip you get will be random . Information in this section was contributed by Steve.

Hint: Get Sanctuary chip (266):

Get all of the five stars and begin hard mode. When you complete hard mode, Sanctuary will be in your original save file (not hard mode). Information in this section was contributed by Steve.

Hint: Recommended chips:

The following chips are highly recommended; find them whenever possible. Information in this section was contributed by UTAIN-EVANS.FAMILY.

StepSword (from the chip trader special in MarineHarbor)

MagBomb3 (from Magneakers in WWW Area3)

Attack+20 (include as many as possible of these if you use chips that deal damage multiple times, such the Yo-Yo chips. They are found in various places)

PopUp (gotten from Moles in UnderNet6)

Hint: Best regular chip:

The chip FstGauge *, which can be bought from the merchant in UnderKoto, is the best choice for a regular chip. It doubles the speed of your CustomGauge, allowing you to utilize your chips faster. Since its code is *, you can still use other chips on the first turn. Information in this section was contributed by UTAIN-EVANS.FAMILY.

Hint: Hidden power-up:

In the Mother Computer, there is a power-up next to her brain and to the right. Information in this section was contributed by djipson1.

Hint: Transparent Mega Man:

Go to a panel in Kotobuki, Yumland, or Undernet and slide on the arrow panels. Walk back into the panels. Note: It should not t let you through. This will make two Mega Man bodies appear; if not, just two faces. Information in this section was contributed by HeatgutsMegaman.

Hint: SS license:

After you get the S license, "Delete Gospel", and "Star ID", go through the Undernet to where the laser grid with the "?" on it was located. Check it and it will open. The portal will then take you directly to the WWW area 1. Go through with your S license in hand, but be careful. Once you are inside the WWW you cannot jack out. Once through, you will see many new enemies and some are very difficult to kill. Just run from or and use Full-Enrgs. Go as far as you can through WWW in area 1. Do not go into area 2, no matter what. You will find a cube requiring an S license to open. There are still more obstacles, Before going through the portal there, you will encounter three Protecto1s. To delete these you will have to do 200 damage to all of them at once. Once they are gone, go through the portal and unlock the "Mystery Data". It is army data. Hint: StarBringer Sword:

The StarBringer Sword (StarrSD) can be found by standing on a blue "chance" square in the Thieves' Tomb and fighting repeatedly.

Hint: Monster Island:

Once you have the whale or the great bird and are at least level 35, go to the top of the hunk of land where granny's house used to be. Go directly east. You should see an island at the top of the screen. Go there to reach Monster Island. There are four monsters on this island, as well as a house with Bo and Karn from Breath Of Fire. Use the following information to defeat the monsters that can be found here. Information in this section was contributed by Robert Hensrude.

Gonghead: This is a giant version of the creature. Do not waste AP on it; just keep attacking. It casts Cure 4 each turn after the first, but runs out of AP quickly. It will only attack you twice at the most.

M. Sludge: Cast with either Bleu or Nina. It will kill it automatically.

Fly: This creature resembles an over-sized fly. If you have Chop Chop, use it. Otherwise, use a Dragon ability. Magic does not affect it.

Hint: Finding Bleu:

On the same island as the Thieves Tomb go there. From the Thieves Tomb, go east until you reach the other side of the mountain line. You should see a little whirlwind shape in the sand. Enter here and talk to all the spirits, even the ones in the back rooms. After that, go to Magic school in Hometown and on the second floor talk to the on the left in the left classroom. She will turn into Bleu. Information in this section was contributed by josh2210.

Then, go to the town where you started your game (after you go away, the second town where you and Bow end up). Go to the magic building and talk to all the students. One will say she is Bleu and join you. Bleu starts at level 35 and is very powerful with magic. Information in this section was contributed by Michael Blanca.

Hint: Experience for final battle:

Just before the final Boss, where the Dragon Statue and Cleansing Water are located, fight any monster and use Gold Dragon. Information in this section was contributed by Eagle.

Hint: Unlimited money:

Note: This trick requires two Game Boy Advances, two games and a link cable. Select the best file and put the best item you can spare in the bank (for example, the Shadow Dagger or lots of Herbs). Copy the file and link the Game Boy Advances. Trade the best item from the copy file, but not from the original. Then, erase the copy of the original and repeat entire process. When you have as many items as desired, trade them back and sell them. Information in this section was contributed by Matthew Wolfe.

Use the following trick for unlimited money after the township upgrade. When you choose your carpenter in Capitan, choose the standard house carpenter from the right most house. He will go to your township and cook any king of ingredients plus build a new set of houses (3). When you get the second set of houses (6), recruit Hanz from Hometown. He will supply you with items. Buy three Cond. Up at 1000 Z each. For a total of 3000 Z, cook it to get the GoldBar that you can sell at 6000 Z. Repeat this as needed to get a lot of money very quickly. Sometimes the cooking produces a charcoal, but it is very rare. Once you have enough money you can spend some to raise your stats. Go back to Hanz and buy two Cond.Up for 2000 Z, then cook them to obtain one Dinker (+1 Agility); or buy two Medicate for 1000 Z, then cook them to obtain one PwrFood (+1 Strength). Hint: Easy experience:

If you have the time to spare, go to a place where only Specters attack you. Activate the Jupiter + Serpent combination. By the time you get to fighting Specter, you should have enough MP and INT to not have to worry about running out. Leave your system on AC power and leave it running all day in that area. Depending on your the level when you started, you can gain 20 to 30 levels. Information in this section was contributed by Aaron.

Hint: Spinning attack:

When using the whip, hold down Attack to make it spin around in a circle. It will act like a shield, so you cannot get hit by small enemies around you. Note: You cannot move while doing this attack. Information in this section was contributed by Corey DeGrandchamp.

Hint: Attack while cursed:

You can still attack while cursed. Just use the tackle move (press R while running) when relatively close to an enemy that is on or near the ground. Information in this section was contributed by Piccolo60000.

Hint: Defeating Camilla:

Use Jupiter + Serpent card to get a ring of four ice balls around you to stop her energy ball attacks. Then, stand on the high to middle platform. She never goes all the way up there. She will go just below it, and the ring of ice balls will hit her as she passes. It will appear as if she is going to hit your feet, but will not. Then, use the Holy Water when she is off to either side (by the top platforms on the right and left just below your position) to hit her for more damage. By doing this, you should take no damage. After awhile she will die with no "whip work". Information in this section was contributed by ant55ohio.

Hint: Defeating :

To defeat very easily, just activate the Jupiter + Manticore DSS combo. His sickles cannot hit you, and by this point in the game you will probably never run out of MP because this combo will use it slower than you restore it. Information in this section was contributed by Scott Vrooman.

Hint: Defeating Dracula (second round):

To defeat the second Dracula, use the Jupiter + Serpent DSS combo to get an Ice Shield and duck into the left or right corner. When he turns around (not facing you), jump up and hit him. When he turns around to face you, duck. He will not be able to hit you with anything, so he will be forced to turn back around. Continue this until he turns into an eye and you should be able to defeat him without too much trouble. Information in this section was contributed by SlipKnot66681528.

Get a Crucifix sub weapon and max out your hearts. Get on the left platform. When he starts using his laser attack, he will not be able to hit you. Start throwing crucifixes rapidly and you will be able to make him start flashing. After this, use the Uranus-Thunderbird combo and their summon. You use this three to four times and he will be defeated. Information in this section was contributed by RB1229.

Hint: Defeating Dracula (Demon form) in fighter mode:

Since you cannot use DSS in fighter mode, use the following strategy. When you appear in the Underworld, go to the left corner and duck. Hold B to use your Whip Shield until he turns around. Then, throw Boomerangs at the eye. He may send meteors or shoot lasers. Dodge the meteors and the stay behind Dracula. Repeat these moves. He will eventually start to flash. Jump on to the platform on the left. He will appear behind you. Use the Roc Ring to dodge him. His Eye will fly around. Dodge the bats and whip the Eye. Repeat until he is defeated. Information in this section was contributed by XPAC3491.

Hint: Defeating Dragon Zombies (Twin Dragons):

To defeat the Dragon Zombies easily, whenever you get hurt, jump up to the platform by the door where you entered the room and activate the Jupiter + Mandragora DSS combo to heal yourself. A fireball may hit you every once in a while, but it is very rare. Information in this section was contributed by Scott Vrooman.

An easier way to defeat the Dragon Zombies is to jump on the left platform where the locked door that leads to the trophy is located. From there you can not be hit by a fireball because you would be behind the dragon that spits them. Information in this section was contributed by Leviathan Sigil.

If you are in magician mode, use Pluto and black dog turn into skeleton. Keep throwing bones in the entrance or exit door, but turn back when they attack because you will die in one hit. Information in this section was contributed by Chris Oberholtzer.

Hint: Defeating Hugh:

When you are low on health, use the Roc Wing to jump to the upper left or right of the room. There will be a ledge that you can use to heal yourself, without him hurting you, by using the Jupiter + Mandragora DSS cards. However, when he powers up, blades can come up and hurt you. Turn up the sound and listen for the noise Hugh makes when he is about to use the move. When you hear it, turn on the Jupiter + Manticore combo to destroy the blades. If you are waiting for your MP to come back, only use Jupiter + Maticore when you need to. Information in this section was contributed by MikeTheMan27.

Hint: Use summons in the Battle Arena:

Select your summon, and use a 4 Mind Restore, 2 Mind High, or a Mind EX. As soon as you leave the menu screen, press L and do the summon. You can only do one summon after using the Mind Restore, so bring a lot of them. Information in this section was contributed by David Wong.

Hint: Use DSS in the Battle Arena:

In the Battle Arena, equip a good DSS Summon Combo (for example, Uranus + atrice). In the pause menu, select "Items", then "Use", and use a "Mind High" (not a "Mind Restore" -- they can work, but you will need to be extremely fast). Immediately after exiting the pause menu, press your DSS button. When your character is done casting, press Down, Forward, Up, Attack. If done fast enough, you should have pulled off a summon in the Battle Arena. Information in this section was contributed by Elemental Knight.

Hint: Use any DSS card combination:

Note: You must have at least one combination. Select one pair and press L (the DSS button). Immediately press Start, go into the DSS, and pick any card no matter if it is unknown or not. Note: This may require a few attempts. Information in this section was contributed by SupeRandall25.

Once you select any type of DSS combo, press R then quickly press Start and choose DSS. Select any type of DSS combination and you will be able to use that combo. Information in this section was contributed by obawankenoba oops.

Activate a DSS powerup. As soon as your character glows, press Start to pause game play. Go to DSS, choose a combination of any two cards. You can mix cards you have with cards you do not have. Resume the game. You will now have the power-up you chose. You can do this as many times as needed. Note: You need at least one DSS move for this to work. Information in this section was contributed by Donspejun and Funk Master Flex.

Hint: Easier combos in Vert X-Rage mode:

When hitting either side ramp, Press Up + B for the Frontward 50/50 and slide on the rail for a short distance. Before you are ready to go back down, hit a few short moves and your skater will automatically jump in the air from the rail to the height you were supposed to reach if you did not hit the 50/50. The best you can do with this process is to do the 50/50, then a few short moves, and end with the Noserock. It is possible to pull off six moves by doing the 50/50, some Shove-it 360s and then ending with the Noserock. This is helpful in X-Rage mode when trying to max out the stats of each skater. Information in this section was contributed by ssclearm.

Note: There are 20 basic levels in the game. Level 21 is a repeat of level 1, but with UFOs instead of jets to shoot down. The password at level 22 is the same as level 2. You must enter the password for level 20 or 21 and play the game from there to get UFOs instead of MIGs. Entering level 21 in Ace mode gets you started all over again from level 1, but with World War I era tri-planes instead of jets or UFOs.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Flying cars:

It is possible to replace the jets with flying classic cars. Something can be done in novice mode at level 6 that will result in a constant tone until you get to level 7. Level 7 will then start with classic cars flying at you instead of jets. The level passwords with the cars are identical to those with jets. You must duplicate some sort of game condition (complete all the first six levels with no damage? Complete level 6 with no damage and using only one plane?) to unlock the cars. Please submit more information regarding this bonus. Information in this section was contributed by Scott Carnegie.

Hint: Dijiin:

Make sure you set your Dijiin the way you want before a battle. If you know you are going to fight a lot of enemies, it would be a good idea to have your Dijiin ready to summon. If you are going to fight a small number of enemies you should not have it ready to summon. Information in this section was contributed by The Lock.

Use your Dijiin according to the element the person using the Dijiin excels at. Give Earth to Issac, Fire to Garet, Wind to Ivan, and Water to Mia. Information in this section was contributed by The Lock.

Hint: Psyenergy:

Use your Psyenergy wisely. You should not just use your Psyenergy at any time, because you will quickly run out. You should only use it when needed or when it will stop you from receiving considerable damage. Information in this section was contributed by The Lock.

As you walk around in dungeons or on the world map, your character's Psynergy will recover by one every six or seven steps. Note: This does not work in towns. Information in this section was contributed by Oregonboy165212.

Give Djinn to different people. If a character has two types of Djinn, they can use different Psynergy than if they have just one. If a character has three Djinn, set two (the character's main Djinn and another), then put one on standby. Experiment with this until you get the Psynergy and the Djinn for the characters you want them on. Information in this section was contributed by NewSSJVegita.

Hint: Herbs:

Carry plenty of herbs in dungeons. Even a small task in a dungeon can wipe you out. You will save more money by doing this than by having to revive one of your team members. You will also always have all your team members ready to fight. Information in this section was contributed by The Lock.

Hint: Easy money:

Before you enter the portal in Sol Santum at the start of the game, take all of Jenna's items and sell them. Information in this section was contributed by Boogerdude.

When you get to Crossbone Isle, use Douse on the pink tornado and fight him for lots of experience and money. Go into the cave and when you exit it will be back. There are no monsters on the isle so you can just walk around to restore Psyenergy. Information in this section was contributed by VdGuts8.

Hint: Inns:

Hint: Altmiller Cave:

When you get to the bottom floor where you have to turn the stones in sequence, use Reveal to see the stones in color. You do not have to memorize the sequence. This is also useful if you want to just walk by Babi, without listening to his long speech. Information in this section was contributed by Skabialkac.

Hint: Barricade:

When you get to the barricade look to the left to see a box taller than Isaac. Use your Psyenergy to move it. Information in this section was contributed by dhhealth.

Hint: Colosso:

Once Issac is admitted into Colosso, if you lose any of the fights the first time you try, Isaac will wake up and it will be just before you began competing in Colosso. This only works the first time you fight in Colosso; otherwise you lose permanently. Information in this section was contributed by Oregonboy165212.

If you lost in Colosso more than once you will still wind up in bed, and can re-enter the tournament. Also, your Psi points recover even when you are in a town. Information in this section was contributed by Joseph Golemon.

In Colosso, choose your partner to cheer for you very carefully. They can use their Psynergy to help you get some of the useful items on your way to the arena. Also, you will have a much easier time going through the obstacles. You can use Halt to freeze the men who pull the levers to make the platforms move. Information in this section was contributed by Bluebubbles1991.

Hint: Ivan:

Keep close watch on Ivan's health. Ivan is the youngest of your group. He is only 15, while the others are all 17. He will get hurt faster. Give him more defensive equipment and less offensive equipment because he uses more Psyenergy than direct attacks. Information in this section was contributed by The Lock.

Hint: Use Reveal to find items:

Hint: Kikuichimonji:

To get Ivan's ultimate weapon, the Kikuichimonji, go to Venus Lighthouse and start Fenrirs. The Kikuichimonji drops rarely off of them. Just keep fighting and them until that happens. Information in this section was contributed by TJ Mason.

Use a Fire Djinn to kill a Fenrir, and you will have a better chance of getting the Kikuichimonji. This does not automatically give you the sword, but increases the chance of the monster dropping it. Information in this section was contributed by TJ Mason.

The Kikuichimonji sword is the rarest item drop in the game. It is is dropped by Fenrirs in Venus lighthouse. Use the following trick to collect it multiple times without fail. First, go to the starting room of the second level in Venus lighthouse (the one with the Psynergy stone in the middle) and save the game. Turn it back on, return to your file, and prepare by doing the following. Make sure that your party's agilities are so they can attack thusly: Ivan, Isaac, Mia, then Garet. Also make sure that none of your Djinn are on standby. You are now ready. Walk around and you will defiantly run into a Fenrir on the left and an Ice Gargoyle on the right. You must use these exact attacks or the trick will not work. If the enemy attacks first, try again, If not, do these attacks exactly (make sure the large arrow is always on Fenrir): Ivan casts Tornado, Isaac casts Clay Spire, Mia casts Ice Horn, and Garet casts Flare Wall. If you are lucky and the enemies do not attack, allowing you have your turn immediately, then do so. If they attack, turn off your game and start again. On this next turn: Ivan defends, Isaac defends, Mia casts Wish, Garet uses Torch on Fenrir. The Fenrir should die. Make sure after this turn -- if the Ice Gargoyle attacks you, do not worry and keep going. On the next turn, finish off the Ice Gargoyle. If you did this correctly, you will receive Kikuichimonji every time. Information in this section was contributed by Danny boy.

Defeat a lot of monsters in Venus Light House to get this item. It will increase your attack power. Information in this section was contributed by brock francis.

Hint: Turtle Boots:

When you get through the Barricade, there is a small island with a bridge up near it. There are some woods there. Press A and Isaac will search. Keep pressing A until you find the Turtle Boots. Information in this section was contributed by Jose Agosto.

Hint: Unicorn Ring:

Defeat a great number of monsters in Venus Light House . This item is used to remove poison from a party member. Information in this section was contributed by brock francis.

An easy way to get the Unicorn Ring is to check the jar to the left of the master in Fuchin Temple.

Hint: Zodiak Wand:

The Zodiak Wand is sometimes dropped by monsters in the Venus Lighthouse. The Zodiak Wand unleashes Shining Star. Information in this section was contributed by susanjt.

Hint: Selling rare items:

If you have rare Items, you can sell them to shops and they will be put under rarities. If you want them back, you have to buy them. This is useful for good, but unusable weapons (such as cursed objects). Information in this section was contributed by biggorn Blade.

If you have items that are rare are not used, sell them to a shop. Usually if they say "This is rare stuff" in their offer to buy, when you sell it to them it will be put in the artifacts section. Information in this section was contributed by Daniel Jensen.

Hint: Buying rare items in last town:

You can buy rare equipment that you did not sell. There are a lot of good weapons and armor that you should buy, but they are expensive. Most of the items cost over 10,000. Information in this section was contributed by TJ Mason.

Hint: Easy items:

Immediately before entering the portal to the elemental stars in Sol Sanctrum, take all of Jenna's items and give them to Isaac or Garet. Note: You will never have another chance to do this. Information in this section was contributed by Blair Prater.

Note: This trick requires the Psyenergy Reveal with Ivan and Frost with Mia. When in Lunpa, there is a rock in between two wooden pillars toward the back of the village. Use Reveal, and you see a puddle of water. Use Mia's Frost to turn it into an ice pillar. Then, climb the ladder, hop on the ice pillar, and follow the short trail. Once you hit a -end at the opposite side of the village, use Ivan's Reveal again. You will then see a sparkling switch in the wall. Go up to the switch, press A to flip it, and go inside. There should be six treasure chests there. Information in this section was contributed by StubbedToe11.

Hint: Getting various items with Lucky Medals or Game Tickets:

When you receive a Lucky Medal or Game Ticket in the game, sell it to get it out of your item pack until you reach the town of Tolbi. When you get there, you can buy back all of your Lucky Medals and Game Tickets and use them only here in this town. When you are at the fountain, you can throw coins or Lucky Medals. Try not to hit the two turtles or two crabs. Try not to touch anything, and it should roll into the center of the circle. If you tossed a coin, you will get 20 coins. If you threw a Lucky Medal, you will get a great weapon that should be worth much more than the ones that you currently own. You could get an Assassins Blade, Burning Axe, Earth Shield, Adept's Helm, Grievous Mace, or Spirit Armor. Information in this section was contributed by Shadowcron.

If you play the Slot Machine that takes Game Tickets, you can win armor. The Moon is a free symbol -- this means that if you line up at least one Shoe, Shirt, Ring, Star or Heart and the rest are Moons, you will get the armor that matches up with the symbol; or you can line up all of the armor. If you get a Shoe, you can get Hyper Boots, Quick Boots, or Fur Boots. If you get a Shirt, you can get the Cotton Shirt or the Running Shirt. If you get a Ring, you can get the War Ring or Sleep Ring. If you get a Star, you will get a Psynergy Crystal. If you get a Heart, you will get a Potion, Vial, Nut, or Herb. Information in this section was contributed by Shadowcron.

On the slot machine you can win Hyper Boots. They boost critical hits, which is very useful during the rest of the game. Information in this section was contributed by VdGuts8.

If you buy items get Game Tickets, you can sell them back and still have the Game Tickets. Repeatedly buy items and sell them back to get lots of Game Tickets. The farther in the game you get, the more money you have to spend to get the tickets. Information in this section was contributed by VdGuts8.

By throwing Lucky Medals in the fountain, you can also get Kimano, which boosts agility and resists fire. Information in this section was contributed by VdGuts8.

Hint: Venus Lighthouse items:

Keep the monsters at the Venus Lighthouse. They may eventually drop Celestial Wand that unleashes Shining Star. You may also get a Blessed Mace which heals 200 HP when used. Neither of these are extremely strong, but are useful. Shining Star usually gives the enemy Delusion. Information in this section was contributed by Devin Mannix.

Hint: Venus Lighthouse entrance:

Use "Reveal" on the painted wall in the beginning. It will lay a "scholar" near the wall. The "Carry Stone" will be in there. Information in this section was contributed by Bosse Bossonson.

Hint: Cheap weapons:

If you enter a new town, always buy the cheap weapons first. Even though they may not seem strong, they are good enough to help you get to the next town, village, cave, etc. This is a good way to not spend as much money. Information in this section was contributed by Zero Blade.

Note: You may want to buy the more expensive items first so you get game tickets. Also, by the time you get to the next weapon shop, you will be fighting stronger monsters for more money. Information in this section was contributed by VdGuts8.

Hint: Warp back to Sahulla:

Use the following trick to warp back to Sahulla when one of the Tornado Lizard's storms catch you. Use any Psyenergy move besides the ones that heal you or douse. The storm will fly up in the air and land near by Sahulla. Information in this section was contributed by GamesterD23.

Hint: Get to Lunpa:

After you defeat the Collosus event in Tolbi and have the discussion with Lord Babi, go into the room that Babi entered. You will find a bedded Babi, and the Cloak Ball. Tell Babi that is what you want to "Borrow" (he will not ask for it back). He will "lend" it to you. Go back to Lunpa through the cave on its left by using Frost on the puddle below the door. Go to the frame with the two guards in it. Go to the far left side and use Cloak. Stay in the shadows or the guards will see you. Save your game frequently. When you reach locked doors with bushes beside them, use Whirlwind and then Reveal. When you reach a barred entrance with a key in front of you, use Catch. After you have defeated TOADonpa, go to the room with the women guarding a small cave entrance. Donpa will command her to step aside. In the room you will get Tonic, a water Djinni. Once back outside the cave, you can use Reveal on the rock in front of the entrance to the two guard frame. Use Frost on the puddle that appears and go across it. When you reach the end of the path/cliff, use Reveal again and press A on the sparkle. You will get some treasure. Make sure to stock up on the items that you can get in the weapons shop. Information in this section was contributed by jmillard.

Hint: Tempest Lizard:

After you return from fighting Beard on Cross Bone Isle. Use the Red Tornado to warp to Suhulla. Then, go back to the desert and the Red Tornado should be back. This time use Douse and instead of a Tornado Lizard, the Tempest Lizard will appear. Information in this section was contributed by Knightxx5.

Hint: Snow:

Cast the water Psynergy "Douse" in the snowy northern town of Imil. The game does not show the usual dousing water spell. Instead, it shows frozen snowflakes falling from the sky. Information in this section was contributed by Gameboyee.

Hint: Getting to Crossbone Isle:

There are two ways to get to Cross Bone Isle, the island of treasures. On your journey across the Karogal Lake, select the following rowers in order to drift off course and end up at Crossbone Isle: Punk with Long Hair, Balding Man, Chef, and the Old Man. However, you will not be able to go all the way through the island's cave yet -- return later by getting there the second way. For the second way, there is a Pink Tornado deep within The Suhalla Desert. Use Reveal near the Pharaoh's head to find footprints. Follow the foot prints. They will lead you to a cave which will get you to the Pink Tornado. Get in the Pink Tornado and do not do anything. The tornado will take you to Crossbone Isle. Psynergy needed: Cloak, Carry, Catch, Frost Reveal, Move and Halt. Note: Every door in the cave has a different Boss guarding it. Defeat each one to progress into the cave. Deep in the cave is a pirate ship. A Pirate named Beard is guarding the Treasure, and he is the toughest Boss in the game. Information in this section was contributed by Cobrix2.

Hint: Mercury Lighthouse:

To finish Mercury Lighthouse, you must have Mia on your team. To get to the top of the lighthouse stand in the hands of the goddess and use Mia's Ply. This allows you to walk on water on selected squares. Once you have completed the puzzles, you will fight Satarous. Information in this section was contributed by Bernie Healey.

Hint: Defeating Beard:

Go to Crossbone Isle, and go all the way through until you find a pirate ship. Go onto the pirate ship. Go to the north side of the ship, towards the treasure ship. You will run into a huge Pirate named Beard. Beard is more difficult than the Fusion Dragon you fight at the end of the game. It is highly recommended that you are at level 30 before you fight him, After you defeat him, take the treasure. The other treasure chest near the sail is a mimic. Information in this section was contributed by Cobrix2.

Deadbeard is weak against Earth and has 10,000 HP. You will get 10n400 experience and 14000 coins if he is defeated with an Earth Djinni. Information in this section was contributed by jaragi.

Use Flint with Isaac, and if you have Djinn Flash or Corona with Garet, use it. With Ivan, use the Djinn Luff if you have him, so Beard cannot use Psyenergy. Also keep setting Luff, so that when his Psyenergy seal is gone you can keep sealing his Psyenergy with Luff. If you do not have Luff, Destruct Ray, Whirlwind or Shine Plasma will do. With Mia, Glacier or the Djinn Hail will work well. When you have enough Earth Djinn on standby with Isaac, summon Judgment, because it will usually do over 1,000 damage to him. Since he is very weak to Earth attacks, even the Venus summon will do over 200 damage to him. Beard will often use Impact. If Garet is a Samurai (four Earth Djinnm three Wind Djinn) use Protector and Angel Spear to boost your attack and defense. Also, use Wish Well with Mia, but not too often -- she will run out of PP. You can also use other summons, but they will only do about 600 or less damage. Information in this section was contributed by Hernhaw.

Before you battle Beard, set all of your Earth Dinji to "Summon". Make sure Garet is holding these Dinji, as he is fairly useless during this battle. On your first turn, have Issac use Ragnorak if you know it, or Clay Spire. Summon Judgment for Garet, and use Bind with Ivan. Mia should summon a Water Dinji whenever she does not have to heal. During the remainder of the battle, continue to use the Earth Dinji after they recover, then summon Judgment. Make sure Mia heals your party often, because beard can do serious or damage. Also, make sure Ivan uses Bind often to seal Beard's Psyenergy. After about four Judgments and a lot of good Psyenergy attacks, beard should die. It would also be useful to use Break with Mia, to eliminate Beard's bonuses. Information in this section was contributed by Bluebubbles1991.

Hint: Defeating the Fusion Dragon:

The Fusion Dragon is weak against water and has 5200 to 5300 HP. Information in this section was contributed by jaragi.

Attack with regular attacks, except for Mia. Mia should use the Psyenergy Wish Well to heal the group. When she runs low on Psyenergy, use an Energy Star. Repeat this strategy. If you feel lucky, use Bind with Ivan to bind the Fusion Dragon's Psyenergy. Information in this section was contributed by Codeking5.

Use the Djinn Flash, whether its setting him or using with Garret. Use Ragnorok with Isaac (Robin). Use the best attack you have with Ivan and use Wish Well with Mia. Information in this section was contributed by jimil2.

Make sure Mia can use Wish Well. If she can, use this every turn while your other characters use summons and resistances. If someone happens to fall, try to ignore him unless you can revive them easily. Information in this section was contributed by Lime827.

Hint: Defeating Menardi:

Menardi is weak against Water and has 3,000 HP. Information in this section was contributed by jaragi.

Hint: Defeating Saturos and Menardi permanently:

Begin with all Djinn sets. Defensive ones are very helpful. Saturos and Menardi have 3000 HP, 260 EP, and 3000 EXP. Information in this section was contributed by Pmfia.

Start with all Djinn on set and call them out one at a time. Defensive Djinn such as Granite and Flash are very effective. Trade Mia's Water Djinn, Sleet, Mist, Hail with Garet's ineffective Fire Djinn. Have Mia use Wish Well every turn and save the spirits for Fusion Dragon. After defeating Saturos and Menardi, they will turn into a two-headed creature that will not stand a chance to spirit's such as Boreas, Judgement, and Thor. Information in this section was contributed by Munnangireddy.

To defeat Saturos and Menardi, use your highest Psyenergy cost moves after you have reached about level 38. Get four Djinnis set for the Fusion Dragon. Make sure they do damage or put up your stats. Then, use Judgement, Boreas, Meteor, and Thor. Make sure Zephyr is not on standby. At the start, use his power and have everyone else use some other Djinni. Information in this section was contributed by jncdepeel.

Hint: Defeating Saturos in the Mercury Tower:

Since Saturos is a fire adept, use Mia's two Dijnii frequently. Also, watch Ivan and Garet's HP. Information in this section was contributed by Pmfia.

Hint: Defeating Saturos:

Saturos is weak against Water and has 3,000 HP Information in this section was contributed by jaragi.

Hint: Defeating Tret:

If you can use magic enough with Isaac and Garet, you will get Spire (for Isaac) and Volcano (for Garet). Use Flint with Isaac, Volcano with Garet, and Ray with Ivan, then do the same thing but instead of Flint, use Venus with Isaac. Then, when Flint is recovering, use Spire. Keep using this od and it should only take a few turns. Information in this section was contributed by Kepalsson.

Hint: Tret:

After you visit Bilibin and have talked to the Lord, you may be tempted to go through the cave that leads to Imil and Mercury Lighthouse. Do not do so. First, go to Kolima and Kolima Forest. Make it through the forest by moving logs and battling enemies. You will eventually meet Tret, the tree. After you talk to him, climb up the vines on Tret that are very easy to miss. Once in Tret, you will eventually battle him after exploring and puzzle solving. After defeating him, now go through the cave to Imil. You could beat Tret after you visit Imil, but you would have to go through the cave several times. After completing Mercury Lighthouse, fill the bottle that you got from Imil with the Water of Hermes. Then, go to Tret and give the water to him. He will then turn all of the persons who were trees back to people. Information in this section was contributed by Bluebubbles1991.

Hint: Defeating any Boss:

You only need two Djinn, Granite and Flash, to defeat any Boss in the game. Set them to any two characters. On the first turn, attack with everyone but one of these two. For example, Issac has Granite and Garet has Flash, Issac should use Granite, nearly nullifying all responding attacks. On the next turn, attack/summon/whatever with Ivan and Mia, but set Granite with Issac and use Flash with Garet. The next turn, set Flash again and use Granite. Repeat those steps until you win the battle. This makes your characters nearly invincible, with even the Fusion Dragon doing damages as little as 13 for its most powerful attacks.

Hint: Defeating the thieves:

To defeat the thieves in Vault, use your Djnii and Psynergy frequently. Have herbs, etc. handy before the battle. Keep an eye on Ivan's HP. Information in this section was contributed by SGlop.

Hint: Fighting Bosses again:

Go to "Battle" at the menu, then talk to the lady at the counter. Answer "Yes" to battle a monster, then step into the circle. After a few rounds with battling, you should meet one of the Bosses from the game. Note: You must be level 16 or higher. Information in this section was contributed by Evil_Cartman.

Hint: Easy experience and gold:

Walk outside towns and battle monsters, but do not wander too far away. Use Herbs, Nuts, or anything else that cures your characters. When you run out of magic to heal or need to buy more Herbs, return to town. Go inside the inn or item shop and get cured. Note: You may want to do both. All the gold that you received from battle goes towards curing yourself, but is worth it since you will gain levels faster. Repeat those steps until reaching the desired level. Note: You may want to repeat this trick when you see a change of monsters levels. Information in this section was contributed by Scott Baker.

When you run into a battle with any kind of Bee or Zombie monster, defeat all monsters but the Bees or Zombies. Then, just choose "Defend" until your screen is full with multiples of the same monster. The "Monster looks for allies" message will appear, then another of the same creature will appear. Once you get a maximum of six monsters on the screen, you can finish them off; or you can kill some and let the survivors multiply once again. Continue this process to get as many coins and as much experience as desired. Information in this section was contributed by Shadowcron.

Hint: Easy experience:

Go to an area with Drone Bees, such as Lamakan Desert. Get into a battle that includes Drone Bees. Kill all the enemies except for the Drone Bees. Keep defending until the enemies look for allies and there are about six enemies on the screen. Start them one by one. When you are deciding who to attack, have all your characters attack the same bee or you can have two characters attacking two different bees. Kill the bees one by one or two by two and they will keep coming back. If you are fast enough, you can gain easy experience. Basically all you have to do is keep pressing A when you have six bees on the screen. Information in this section was contributed by Joseph Morgan.

If you are in Venus Lighthouse and need to gain experience or just fill up, go to the room just before the sand waterfalls with the Psynergy Stone. Use all magic that you need to use. Then, take the Psynergy Stone. You should be all filled up. Go up the stairs to the left and back down. The Psynergy Stone should be there again. Repeat this as many as times as needed. Information in this section was contributed by JSB62692.

Go to the area outside of Kalay. If you get into fights with Undeads, attack each one with one character only once. Then, wait for only one to be on screen. Wait for it to call for an ally. Attack the ally with only one regular attack, and kill the original with a Fire Djinn. Repeat this as many times as needed for easy experience. Note: This trick also works on Warrior Bees, which are outside Lalivero Information in this section was contributed by GhostgohanJim.

On Crossbone Island use Douse on the pink tornado to fight a tough tornado monster for at least 1,000 experience points and 6,000 gold. Walk around to gain PP. Go in the cave entrance, then exit to make the tornado reappear. Repeat this as many times as desired. Information in this section was contributed by Benluke3.

When you get to Fusion Dragon, lose to it then heal yourself and lose to it again. The levels you gain from your battle before Fusion Dragon will grow. Repeat until your level is as high as desired. Information in this section was contributed by Justbear1.

Go to where the Tempest Lizard is located in the Sahulla Desert. Take the Tornado to Crossbone Isle. When you arrive, put all Earth, all Fire, and four Wind Djinni on standby and enter the Tornado. Select Psyenergy and use Douse. Defeat it, enter the area with the cave, and repeat this as many times as desired. You will get over 1,000 experience points every time.

G to the Venus Light House and go to the second floor with the purple stone in the middle of it,where there should be a picture of a tree on the floor under the stone. Make sure that all your Djinn are set and are not on standby. Save the game and turn it off. Then, go back to your file and resume. You must have the following items: Dragon Shield, Kimono, Warriors Helmet, Silver Blade for Garret, Elven Shirt, Crystal Rod, Lucky Cap, Spirit Armlet, Herm's Water for Even, Frost Wand, Wooden Cap, Gauntlets, Oracle's Robe, Shamon's Rod for Mya, Ninja Hood, War Gloves, Steel Armor, Righteous Mace, and Asura Armor for Issac. Run around the room. You should encounter either a Fenrir with an Ice Gargoyle or a Chimera Mage with two Fenrirs. The encounter with the Ice Gargoyle and Fenrir will give you Ivan's final weapon of the game. If you encounter the Chimera Mage, it should give you 11,636 experience points with a Vial. Information in this section was contributed by joshua.

At the very start of the game when the Mt. Alph boulder is going to fall, young Issac and Garet can battle enemies by Kraden's house. It may take a while to gain a level, and you may need to use a few herbs. However, you will have an advantage later in the game. Note: You will not be able to battle enemies here again. Kraden's house is located where the man asked you if he was going to die. Information in this section was contributed by Bluebubbles1991.

When in the top floor of the Venus Lighthouse, save, reset and continue the game from that point. The next monster you battle should be three Willowisps and a Recluse. Kill the Willowisps with Earth Djinni and the Recluse with Fire. You should get 1200 experience each time you repeat this trick. You will also get an endless supply of Nuts and Unicorn Rings. Information in this section was contributed by Werecat#1.

Hint: Fleeing:

When you are in a battle with monsters, you have about an 85% chance of escaping if you select "Flee" immediately. This helps if you are on a mission.

Hint: Defeating T-Rex (stage 1 and 8):

You will not be able to hurt T-Rex until the third time he pops his head. This is good practice for dodging the metal objects that fall. After he backs out of the room and the gun powder box falls, aim for the box. Hold your fire until you see his head. Then shoot, and dodge the metal pieces. Repeat this until T-Rex is defeated. Information in this section was contributed by Cobrix2.

It will fall on him. Repeat either the falling Pteranadon or the exhibit case actions one more time to defeat him. Information in this section was contributed by Cobrix2.

Hint: Defeating Red Raptor (stage 5 and 8):

The Red Raptor is found at the start of stage 5 and around the middle of stage 8. In both stages, there is a room with Raptor (s), a cage, and a switch. In stage 5, you have to lure the Red Raptor in by investigating one of the s and the switch. Once he is in the room, lure him under the shadow. When he is under the shadow, shoot at the switch. He will be trapped. He will angrily jump around the cage, but cannot escape. In stage 5, he will knock down some keys. Information in this section was contributed by Cobrix2.

Hint: Defeating the Giant Pteranadon (stage 6):

There are three platforms with one box on each platform. Immediately stand in front of a box. When the Giant Ptereanadon appears, jump away from the box so that it explodes. If you do this too early, the box will not explode. It usually takes three to five direct hits for the Giant Pteranadon to run away. Information in this section was contributed by Cobrix2.

Hint: Defeating Compys (stage 7 and 8):

When you enter the area where you have to fight the Compys, three boulders will fall -- one blocking the entrance, one blocking the exit and one in the middle. When all the Compys appear, lure them in front of the middle boulder. Use the Tranquilizer to paralyze them in front of the middle boulder. Then, use the Flare Gun to shoot the boulder so it runs over all the Compys in its way. The boulder will return each time. Repeat this until all the Compys have been defeated. Information in this section was contributed by Cobrix2.

Hint: Escaping Spinosaurus rampage (stage 1 and 8):

In Stage 1, he is the second dinosaur that you see. It is very hard to escape unhurt during the short run in stage 1. However, you can stay alive no matter what, unless you stop while he is chasing you. In Stage 8, he is farther away and you can easily run away without being hurt. However, this run is very long and the Spinosaurus is not the only thing that can hurt you. When he gets stuck at the boxes he will start throwing them at you. There are also holes which you must jump and Blue Raptors which you must avoid. The easiest way to do all of this is to run straight through the middle. The only thing you will have to do is jump the holes. Do not stop running, even to defeat the Blue Raptors when Spinosaurus is stuck. Information in this section was contributed by Cobrix2.

Under the stone is a portal. The only point of entering early is getting the Big Key and Golden Gloves very early, saving the Smith, and getting the Level 3 sword before even entering the second dungeon. This makes the rest of the game up to the fifth or sixth dungeon much easier.

Do the lightest button-tap possible, then wait for the portal to bring you back. Do not move. Use the mirror again, and when you are in the Light World, walk into the fence. Move right to jump off, then walk to where you see a lava break and a rock next to each other (at the bottom of the screen.) Move in between them and move down. The screen should move to you on a hill in the Dark World.

You can either bring him up to the other pond and throw him in, or bring him all the way to the village and sell him to the man who sold you the bottle. Bringing him to the other pond will only result in 20 rupees, but selling him to the man will give you 100.

Now you can simply ram the grave get the cape. Then go back to the warp point to get back out.

To kill zombies without using the shotgun, just use your fists. It takes practice, but it saves ammunition and is easier when used to take out groups of enemies. Information in this section was contributed by transman40.

Glitch: Turbo dig:

When you get the shovel and the magic boomerang (the normal version may also work), you can dig very quickly. Throw the boomerang, quickly change to the shovel, and dig. The spot where the boomerang passes by will be dug. Information in this section was contributed by Ho Jo.

Glitch: Run very fast:

Stand on a flight of stairs and use the flute. Just before the duck picks you up, start to dash. Cancel out of the destination selection by pressing B. When you land, you should be running very fast. If you get hit by an enemy while running fast, run up a flight of stairs and you should be running fast again. When you switch to a different screen you will return to normal walking speed. Glitch: Cave entrance:

Jump off Spectacle Rock (near the first warp pad you find in the game) in the Light World and land on top of the cave entrance. You will go into the cave, but the screen change animation will glitch. You will appear in the middle of the screen, but none of the buttons (except Start and Select) will do anything. The only thing you can do at this point is save and quit the game. Glitch: Instruction manual error:

Under the items for A Link To The Past, the Roc's Cape is listed. However, it is really the Magic Cape. The Roc's Cape is only in The Four Swords. Information in this section was contributed by starwrath89.
